Abstract:
This study aims to critically evaluate the implementation of e-governance in Ethiopia's public administration system by identifying its challenges and opportunities to provide a comprehensive understanding. To this end, the research adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing secondary documentary sources to explore the intricate landscape of challenges and opportunities surrounding the implementation of e-governance public service systems in Ethiopia. By analysing current trends, policy frameworks, and technological advancements, this study seeks to uncover the critical factors that influence the adoption and efficacy of e-governance initiatives within the Ethiopian context. The findings of this research endeavour to offer valuable insights and recommendations for policymakers, practitioners, and stakeholders involved in advancing e-governance strategies and practices in Ethiopia.
