About the Journal

The Ethiopian Journal of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (EJTVET) is a scholarly publication of the Federal TVT Institute dedicated to advancing research, knowledge, innovation, and practice in technical and vocational education and training (TVT) and the world of work.

The journal publishes original empirical research, reviews, case studies, and book reviews covering areas including TVT delivery, curricula and leadership; technology innovation, adaptation and transfer; labour-market and value-chain analysis; indigenous knowledge and skills; entrepreneurship; green TVT; innovative capacity building; employability; and public–private partnerships.

EJTVET welcomes rigorous qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research that provides meaningful contributions to TVT policy, practice, innovation, and skills development.

The journal only considers manuscripts that are directly relevant to the TVT sector and demonstrate originality, academic rigor, and practical or theoretical significance.
