Enhancing Image Building and Employability through Higher TVET in Developing Countries: Opportunities, Challenges, and Future Prospects

Abstract

Focusing on how Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) might boost employability and improve public perceptions, this review examines the role of higher TVET in developing nations. The review offers useful insights for educators, legislators, and industry stakeholders by analysing future opportunities, difficulties, and prospects for higher TVET institutions. The results highlight how crucial it is to link TVET courses with business needs, incorporate technology into training courses, and promote public-private collaborations. Furthermore, the research emphasizes strong leadership, resource allocation, and creative teaching methods to overcome obstacles like outmoded curricula and inadequate infrastructure. This research argues that increased TVET can create a skilled labor force that propels economic growth and development in low-income economies.
